TFL ordered a TRX. The guys are a little goofy, but they do put vehicles through their paces. I’ll be curious to see what they say.

I like TFL too but I don’t think they’re impartial in any way. They have a lot of paid content and recently are not on good terms with Ford. I’m sure they’ll pay them back by hyping up the TRX.

I just find it worth pointing out also how insanely expensive the TRX is vs the Raptor. So if Ford threw that much at their truck as well it would be another level.

They just price it there - the cost of the vehicle is likely comparable to the Raptor...

If TFL were to turn biased, then they just become a useless review source. I would have to think if you showed off someone’s pre release vehicle without authorization, you should be prepared for repercussions. If you want to be on the cutting edge, prepare to get cut occasionally. TFL should just take that as part of doing business.

Road and Track was like that for years with BMW.

I’m not so sure. I think they try to be as impartial as possible just because they need to protect their burgeoning brand, and being accused of bias this early in the game would be definitely harmful.

You have to give them credit especially on their tests of the 1 ton duallys. Nobody was doing that kind of work and filming it all for the public to see.
