anyone know the oil valve in the trans that is supposed to open up at a certain temp to let fluid in from the cooler? i have a feeling mine is stuck. 5 min into offroad mode and i hit 240 temps. i have my old transmission bypassed so the oil was always flowing. worked great. unfortunately i had the internal seperator break in my radiator which caused trans fluid and radiator fluid to mix so that trans got replaced. now with this one acting up im thinking of bypassing that valve but want to confirm with everyone here the right part

You'd think Ford would make this part fail in the open position so it would over cool and not over heat. Stupid.
