From what I have read, you don't really gain much in articulation by doing that. What is your opinion? Have you put it up on a ramp?

Never tried it, not something for me, but have seen a couple videos that might be of interest:

What you get is true independent front suspension. I travel lots of pothole riddled sandy rocky north east logging/fishing roads and my truck was always harsh in that stuff. Not anymore, the front floats through pothole now. First fishing trip without it last weekend and my wife asked why I was laughing to myself and I told her I like this truck again. Truly the best thing I could have ever done to it. Disconnected the two on my side by side and that hooked me. I had a 17 this is a 19 with 60000 km and will have my next one removed before I pick it up. Sway bars a total bind to add stability on road mostly, and yes it's a bit more of a leaner on road but not out of control. Actually, on the street taking a turn you more than ever want to just mash the gas. As for articulation, crawling up through downhill washouts in 2wd you don't spin a tire like you would before with the swaybar. This my opinion, but i recommend trying it before casting stones. Plus, if you have any amount of miles off road, you need new swaybar links anyway. Ford put access panel there for a reason. Try it, it won't kill ya.

Loosened everything off and dropped the axle all the way down to get ready for these beauties...
Fortunately it looks like I have plenty of space for the bolts to come out without any craziness [emoji3060]

Installed ADD Pro Bolt on rear bumper. What a motherfuckinpainintheass that was. Took me 2 Afternoons. Grinding the center plate oem mount out sucks balls. As does fitting all the parking sensors, trailer plug and license plate lights. Everything fought me tooth and nail. Removing the wiring harness was a PITA etc. If there was one mod that i’d pay to have someone do it would have been this. Anyway, it’s done now and looks miles better than OEM.
