So I am installing my bed supports. Very nice kit but I’m running into one issue. The factory bolt that comes with the kit is supposed to go into the existing hole where it seems the bed extender would go but, the hole is not threaded. I tried to see if the bolt would thread it self but did not seem to. I’m sure I could force it but thought I would ask here to see what everyone else did. Thanks!

I had the same issue, it's the bedliner that prevented the bolt from grabbing the thread. Just tap the bolt with a rubber mallet or hammer then you should be fine!!

I cut the bedliner back but that answers my question. My hole is not threaded and will need to be tapped. So I guess some of the holes are threaded and some not.

When I installed the bed extender on my 2020 I didn't tap the holes I just drove them in with my battery powered 3/8" drive impact gun.

Are these supports so your bed doesn't "wobble" or loosen up?

What kind of spare tire rack/mount do you have?
