GEN 2 GEN2 Recall for April 2020

LOL, you got yours 3 days early otherwise if you would of taken delivery on the 3rd, they wouldn't be able to.
Never heard of such a thing to hold up a sale. I made an offer on another one at another dealership for a 2020 and that one doesn't show, that one was built Oct 23, 2019. Now wondering if I should wait on this white one or get the blue one without the recall now. It's not like I can drive it anywhere with the state lock down.

Personally, I'd wait on the one you ordered but that's your call ultimately. Spending what we do one these, I'd rather have exactly what I want instead of settling.

Nothing I ordered, just on the lot. If I ordered it, I wouldn't of gotten the stupid moonroof, carbon fiber or factory spray-in bed liner.

Yep. They brought it over to my house anyways so I could take a look at it. Took it for a short test drive. Put it in Sport mode and floored it. Not impressed at all. Put it in Baja mode and floored it, better but not impressive big “Wow” unfortunately. Not that excited about this truck for some reason but need the tax write-off. Glad I am keeping my GEN1, at least something will keep the smile going. A GEN2 isn’t all that, I am sorry to say as I really wanted it to be. Maybe I will have a better outlook on it once I drive it more.

I test drove a Gen2 and felt the same way. Who knows, it might grow on you. Just a thought...If it's not going to see any dirt, I'd be tempted to get a limited instead and cruise around in style!

I have a copy of the window sticker I downloaded from Ford, but it's in a PDF file and I can't seem to be able to post it. Not sure if you guys can see it or not. In the bottom center of the sticker, there's a block that says "Special Order" with a bunch of numbers. The last set is, "03 04 20". Is that the build date? I also checked my VIN, mine is under recall too while it sits at the damn dealer.

^^ yes, that's the build date. Also, on the plate on drivers side door jam, has the date, but only month year, not day.

The two dates vary by a couple days, so what is the date on top, leaves the line date, and one at bottom, start line date?

Yes that is. I just checked my Window Sticker on my GEN1 2014 and I recall it was started on a Wednesday. So my GEN1 was started on 1/22/14 and finished on 1/29/14 according to the sticker
