you're lucky, do you know if they used AMSOIL? If not, and it were me, I'd use their lube, very easy to change too with your ford performance diff cover...

Installed a Ford Performance Rear Diff cover. As others have said, great quality, more stout and more lube capacity. I did this at 390 miles and had no problem removing the OEM cover. The surface rust came off easily with green Scotch-Brite pad. I flushed the remaining oil with an extra quart if AMSOIL, just very **** retentive.

Took me 2 1/2 hours. Took advantage of the spear wheel being removed and cleaned it/coated with Nyalic.

The instructions call to torque the bolts to 25 lbs, but everything I read and videos said 14lbs, so I opted with 14lbs.

Any of you guys use the Motorcraft Diff. Oil...?? Decided to go with the Spicer Dana Cover,$116 @ RockAuto..they dont sell Amsoil but do have the Motorcraft,,,but it says:
Note: For a complete drain and refill, some limited-slip axles require addition of Friction Modifier, Part Number XL-3 meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A. Refer to Workshop Manual or Owner’s Guide.

Did any one add the Friction Modifier....??

Friction modifier is for limited slip axles I believe all Raptors have the E-Locker and would not require the modifier.

Great write up. Just got mine in the mail! Todd, how's the Nyalic holding up? I plan to do a little undercarriage detailing since I'll be under the truck and would like to coat it once done.
