It clearly has the corsa tips on it, but there is absolutely no markings on the muffler and Corsa was zero help when I called. I’m not evening sure what a stock exhaust looks like because it’s been years since my truck ever had one.

Is it a low quiet rumble on the highway and jackhammer loud at full throttle? If so its probably Corsa, the muffler body looks right, looks like 304 stainless. I'm not sure how else you would get Corsa tips.

I’m not sure because it was taken off right away and I never heard it. He swears it’s stock with only Corsa tips which is why he threw it out. I agree that I don’t think you could just have the Corsa tips

Not a Corsa muffler, appears to stock. Corsa tips can be bought separately.

Negative, stock exhaust is 409SS which will have surface rust, and it will be single in and 2 out, which is why you cant put corsa raptor tips on them. Factory are also crimp construction where as the one pictured is welded. The muffler pictured is clearly a higher grade stainless, that inside shot of the muffler is a give away that its a Helmholtz type muffler as it only has the entry hole rather than perforations or baffles and is otherwise straight through.

So you’re thinking that it IS in fact the corsa?

This is a god debate, but I am curious why the OP cares about the MFG of exhaust that was removed from a friends truck? Is he trying to replace it with an exact model?

I had a custom true dual exhaust on my Gen 1 with MagnaFlow mufflers and Corsa tips. Not that it matters to this discussion...

I am curious because it was given to me and is currently sitting in my backyard. If it is stock, I will most likely give it away. If we can figure out that it is in fact a Corsa, I would put it on my truck in place of my Black Widow exhaust. Either way it’s mine now because my friend just wanted the exhaust out of his garage and doesn’t care what happens to it.
