Hopefully vortech will have some pricing to me soon.

I can usually beat the TVS prices for close to $2000. Buys alot of other goodies.....

Wow... the same setup for 4200.00 shit... Oh wait, vortech is a front engine fead system right?

i had a A & A vortech SC kit on my Z06, centri is fine on a sports car but i wouldn't consider it for a 6k lb truck. IMHO it should be a twin screw or roots type like the TVS/roush or the Whipple.

Who do you deal with at Vortech? They are a great bunch of guys out there

Gil, Mike, John, & Mariano. I am a dealer and sponsored racer.

No definite pricing yet. But when it's available it will def be probably a couple cheaper, based on other comparable kits.

As far as the 6.2, I haven't had the opportunity to push the limits yet.

As far as the trans, the trans is bad ass. I am making about 750rwhp and around 600 ft/lbs currently in the Mustang. We just finished testing Exedy's stage 1 clutches for the 6r80.

The trans will be getting torn down for testing of the stage 2 clutches next week.

I disagree, you are starting off with a good amount of displacement. You'll make all the power you need on a centrifical. Usually with lower IAT's as well.

I remember paying $4600 7 years ago for our 350z Vortech kit. Beefcake - are you talking your cost in the low $4000's because I bet retail is upper 5's..

Beefcake, I talk to Gil and John. I used to talk to Pete when he was there. I have known John for a few years now. They used my GT500 for the development of their Lysholm blower and they are using my Raptor for their blower design.

We'll see what MAP pricing comes in at, but a tuner kit should be able to be had somewhere in the low 5's i would think, maybe better. as soon as pricing is released i'll be posting it

Ricky Best is a buddy of mine, he's a racers guy, after he left I started dealing with John. All a great group of guys,

we had one of the pre production kits for the 5.0 and helped out there.

my car is currently the world's quickest vortech 11/12 out there ;)
