Also want to note that SVC installed it and really likes this design better than the mechanical one. They said the've had some issues with the other version and don't like to mess with the stock electronics (even on the BOV) more than they have to.

So yah, SVC nod of approval from what I can tell is typically not a huge BOV fan lol :)

2nd day into it - realllllly love the sound. With the tune and AWE exhaust - this thing just sounds crazy, makes so many awesome noises :)

As @Pure745 mentioned, we have had the same experience installing these as SVC. We’ve also heard from a few other name brand shops in the Raptor community the new Turbosmart BOV receiving positive reviews for ease of use/installation. Whether you’re truck is stock or heavily modded trucks, the aftermarket BOV’s popularity has sure gone up!

The new BOV’s are in stock and ready to ship.

Installed the turbosmart EM BOV yesterday after running factory bov vented to atmosphere since new.
Sounds good, nice and tuned. Factory bov vta is a loud uncontrolled whoosh of air.
The EM BOV also responds much more quickly than the factory bov and will vent in between rapid on-off-on-off throttle inputs whereas the factory bov will either flutter and cause lag, stay open and dump boost, or stay closed and cause surging.
Running Cobb FMIC, install took about 20 min through the oil change access panel.

Did you have to completely remove the Cobb FMIC for the install?

nope, just removed the oil change access panel on the front skid and reached up, removed the factory bov, slipped the new one in, attached bracket, replaced access panel. 20 min if you’re taking your time
