I’ve got a ‘19 Ruby Red SCREW with Beadlocks. Love the look of contrasting caliper covers and while it’d be cool to replace the brakes with better/beefy brakes, spending $5-6K for that just isn’t going to happen. Realize it’s just for the look but I’d love to have the Red contrasting color behind my beadlocks.

Anyone paint their calipers? I’ve seen some YouTube vids on doing this but not on a Raptor. Both brush and spray paint require a good base so the prep looks the same. Spray paint method looks like the most consistent but a lot more prep and masking. Rather brush paint but seems like results are less consistent. Any experience out there? What product/procedure/methods would you suggest?

BTW, looked into the caliper covers... planned to do that but they don’t have em for the 17” (electronic brake) that I can find. Plus, I think the finished product will look better with the paint. If someone knows of brake caliper covers for the 2019 17” headlocks I might consider that easier option.

Forget the calliper covers.

G2 epoxy paint come is available in red. Did the wife’s car and still in excellent condition after years of winter *****/salt. Get some extra brushes since the paint dries on the brush during application.

Where did you get the dark red on the left. Is that the G2 Box? Like the OP I have a Ruby Red and that looks perfect in the pic anyway.

I just found this. Can get custom color from G2 to match paint color of your ride...in our case Ruby Red! Double’s the cost, but I think I’m gonna go this route if I’m gonna put in the effort to paint them:

How long could I expect this to last? I live in the snow belt. I didn't see anything on their site.

Me too... the one’s on the left but not the right would be my preference. What’s the difference between them?

all four are the same basic red. The ones that look darker are just in the shadow of the stack of tires.
We sell the G2 paint kits through our vendor relationship with R1 Concepts for our brake kits. We have a kit that includes the calipers. It was easier to get new calipers and paint them so I could easily just swap them. I didn’t want to mess with taking them off and cleaning leaving my truck out of commission while doing so. I painted ALL the metal (except what should not be painted) not just the outside.

We can break up the kits. If you just want G2 paint, I can do that. If you want calipers and paint, I can do that too. And of course if you want our well known full brake kits with Rotors, pads (not R1’s), calipers, brake fluid, SS lines, we can add paint to that too.
