I am not knocking svc , i just think Full Race is better cause less cutting , better cooling. I think SVC is a very good company and makes good products i just feel full race makes superior aftermarket parts. This could be a coke vs pepsi battle! (Coke is better).

I have had zero issue when calling Full Race for help. Either way you go you will have a better IC then stock. I would suggest you do not buy a BOV i am not loving my Tial Bov. Minimal sound , i know they recommend a mechanical over electrical BOV but i dont think its worth the extra 300$

Unless you have bigger turbos it won't matter which one you go with unless you want the highest clearance bumper you can get. Then you need the svc. And the EBOV holds 23psi on my truck so it will stay until my bigger turbos come in.

Fullrace and svc are higher quality then anyone needs on this forum. Fullrace uses a garret core and svc is made by cbr. The svc is much easier to install by the way. And wether you cut 1 inch or 2 inches out of the damn grill shutters you cut length is still the same....the whole damn perimeter of that damn thing. Both fit with stock bumpers.

Good thread battle. The winner is.....SVC... Your prize money will be sent via my credit card on your website.

Don't worry ADD, you can still win the frame cut bumper battle. Again the prize money will be delivered by my credit card.

I'm quite new to the gen2 world as I am taking delivery of one next month, but was curious to hear what are the major benefits to upgrading the intercooler?

Currently have a Whipple IC, just a note on my experience with it. On the stock CAC outlet pipe (cold pipe) there is a 45 degree plastic elbow down below as it leaves the IC. This elbow locks into place in stock form with a clip and a grooved portion on the stock IC outlet. The Whipple IC does not have this groove and with the Whipple setup, the stock 45 degree plastic elbow is replaced with a silicone rubber elbow. At this location, twice now, the silicone rubber elbow has popped off the Whipple IC. If you go with Whipple, I suggest a better clamp than the one that comes in their kit, upgrade to a T-bolt clamp.

I don't have an intercooler on my truck yet but I'm leaning Cobb just because I have heard so much good stuff about their stage 2 kit. I wonder how the install is compared to SVC and Full Race. I'm looking for one the modifies the truck the least.

With that said I do have previous experience with Full-Race for my old Evo IX and they are fantastic guys to work with, but can't comment on their Ford products.

Do you have a picture of the clamp you are using as I am getting ready to put the whipple IC in next week with turbosmart BOV. Thanks.
