So here is my 2014 bone stock crew cab. I purchased in 2018 with 120k,2nd owner, fast forward 2 years now I’m considering moding a few things but my mileage is now @ 170k. No mechanical issues standard oil changes , coolant flush, bakes and tires. Would love to hear ideas as I’ve been considering decals on sides, and wrapping gray around tires / front and rear bumper, any ideas.

looks good...at this point with 170k miles....i would keep it till it dies.

Kudos to you...i have never owned a vehicle with over 120k miles. I just get nervous about the next thing to brake.

No decals. Depending on where you live, put a mid travel kit on that bad boy with some glass fenders and romp away in the dirt

Decals are a relatively cheap way to make an old vehicle feel like new. If you still trust it and are just wanting to scratch that new feeling car itch, then it's smart to spend a little bit here or there on decals or mods that you'll appreciate. Nothing wrong with selling it either, if there something out there you think you'll get more enjoyment out of.

New wheels!!! Not only do they make a huge impact but you can keep them if you get rid of it.

I would do all of those things but to a much lower mileage example. You'll drop $10k in mods and 1ok miles later have to drop another $10k for repairs. But then again maybe not.

IMO, for every day driving enjoyment, I'd put my Corsa Extreme Cat-Back at the top of the list. It is as quiet as stock on the highway but accelerating around town adds to the driving experience, and really screams when you put the pedal down above 3,500 rpm. And it looks much better, especially with the black tips. Factory graphics are a tough call on a Black truck, as they don't show up, or "pop" like on other colors. Aftermarket graphics offer the opportunity to spice things up a little by tweaking the colors so that they stand out a little more. I'd go to a local graphics shop and have them pull up the factory '14 graphics and do a little experimenting with different colors. And personally I prefer the contrast between the black paint and the gray flares over color matching paint on the flares. I would even consider doing the factory style graphics in the color of the flares if I had a black Raptor. You have an open canvas, good luck.

DONT SELL...;)
Have a 2014 also,2nd owner,50K and glad to see yours went 170K problem free, cause I love mine so much they are gonna have to pry my cold hands from the steeling wheel before I'd sell...and will for sure see 170K one day.. :)
IMHO,I'd go with some nice decals and like another member said, new Wheels...My decals are over the top,but its a Shelby and thats how 1st owner ordered it....
As far as Bumpers...personally I like the "stock" look....if your truck was beat to S*#&,maybe...to spice it up,but damn, you got a nice looking Gen1...
Only thing I did to mine was put lights in bumper since 1st owner never did and added a BakFlip cover on the back.
Bottom line,do what you like and can afford...

Appreciate it. Not too nervous on this one but am considering replacing seat cushion, decals , and a tune up next. Haha so basic I feel.
