Hey guys,

I discovered a fix to an issue a lot of people seem to have so I thought I'd post it up here for anyone in with similar issues.

I had a pretty nasty gas pedal vibration that never seemed to go away. I went through various stages of thinking I was being nitpicky or overly critical but it did bother me. I tried a few fixes to no avail and then one day when I was under the truck I remote started it and found the exhaust leaking pretty badly at the joints (I know that water is supposed to escape but I could feel exhaust escaping as well)

I bought some JB Weld exhaust putty and patched everything but the weep holes and the vibration is pretty much gone altogether and the truck is a lot nicer to drive.

Just putting this out there for anyone who may have a similar issue.

I got rid of a 2017 and bought a 2019 because I couldn't stand the vibrating gas pedal anymore (I also had other problems with the truck, but the vibrating gas pedal probably got on my nerves the most.). I am so glad that my 2019 does not have this issue!!!!!! I spent countless hours doing all kinds of things to get rid of the gas pedal vibration to no avail.

Yeah now that the vibration is almost gone I really enjoy driving the truck a lot more. Thinking of going to an aftermarket exhaust with X pipe to see if that helps even more!

Interesting, thanks for posting this...I have some sort of high frequency "buzzing" coming from around the Driver's dash vent (left side) area. Hardly noticeable around town speeds, but definitely noticeable at freeway speeds. Not so much a "rattle", (like a loose trim piece), but more like a component (or something) is buzzing.

Great idea to remote start and check out the exhaust, etc, as mine is fairly noisy at cold start up (no Cam Phaser noise though).

Mine has a wastegate rattle on the drivers side until the exhaust warms up. It used to scare me until I watched a couple YouTube videos about the issue. No big deal.

Mine did this precisely between 63-65 mph once the tires were about half worn. Anything above or below that range, didn't do it. It was very easy to replicate on good smooth roads. Some kind of crazy resonance or something.

Got new tires and sold the old ones on CL, all better.

I purchased a Corsa exhaust hoping for the same thing, but it did not do anything to fix my vibration issues. All said and done, I really like my Corsa exhaust, but do not expect much vibration reduction from it.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually just replaced the OEM one with a new cheap OEM take off from a 2018 and it worked wonders! Pretty sure I had some holes in the old exhaust.

I get that noise too. It almost sounds like some kind of little strap or something hanging off blowing in the wind super fast or something. I'm glad I'm not the only one with that sound.

I am just coming across this post and am having very similar issues with my 2018. I just picked mine up at the dealer and they indicated that they could not duplicate the issue but the pedal vibration is still there. I may not have explained the issue correctly to the service guy but your post will help me hone in on it. Just curious but did you ever have a dealer take a look at it or was yours post warranty? thanks.
