Other than the remote start option, this is the most basic Raptor you can get. If you are cool with it then buy it. You are def getting it for way under invoice.

looking for opinions on the price of this new raptor.
super basic. i'm cool with that. 800A all the way is no issue here.

$49000 after all their fees. not including taxes and registration

just seems that no dealership comes anywhere close. Even with the same options with two years and miles on it.

I'm totally cool with it. looks like I can drive this a couple years and barely take a loss if I wanted to sell it.

My ideal is an 801A with remote start. nothing crazy. but i'm not willing to get close to msrp

oddly enough this dealer said that if I ordered this exact same truck it would be 51,995. They just want to move this off the lot hence the aggressive price

no doubt there are plenty of people wanting a 65k truck. I'm not one of them.
I'd rather my money be making me more money in the stock market.

resale isn't much a concern. just a slight consideration.

some people need all the bells and whistles. good for them.

FYI when you buy any product, like a house. You don't want to be
the most expensive on the block. come in at a low or mid point and let the
higher property values make yours worth more!

Appreciate the insight gentleman. Thank you

Hey nothing wrong with that strategy.

I think that is a killer deal! I wish they were discounting them that much last year when I got mine.

800A here as well. Plenty of market for them. You won't have any issues reselling it.

As far as remote start, it comes with it through the ford pass app. You just have to use your phone instead of the key. But - for less than $ 200, you can add the ford perimeter plus alarm module yourself to get the key operable remote start. Plus, it adds a shock sensor to the alarm system. I just did it myself. If you have any questions with it, just PM me.

I found a Screw like that in AZ, they still wanted all the money for it. I liked the cloth seats and overall lack of bells and whistles, it’s still a Raptor and still has stuff I do like, ex automatic high beams. One big thing it’s missing is the torsion diff in the front. Living where I live in the mountains I at least want heated seats, and to be practical it should have power pedals for my 5’2” wife, so those push me into the 801A. Once I’m at 801A and added a few more options it’s only another $5K to go 802A and get the tech package safety features and all the other cool 802A stuff.

On the resale side, someone will want the basic truck, but it will take longer to sell than the 802A.
