I bought this one in matte black and am looking for the same style but in an open face just to compare...

Keep in mind some runs require you to have SA rated helmets.

What I use in the truck and race car

Do you do any drag or road racing? If so, be sure to look for Snell SA2010 rating, which a motorcycle helmet will NOT meet.

This is very important. A friend of mine took his motocycle helmet thinking "this will be more than enough" only to find out otherwise /:

This is what I have for racing. Not cheap, but I only have one head...

I really suggest trying helmets on. Each brand fits differently. I actually had to get some foam removed from my Impact so it would fit right. They actually offer different sized cheek pads to help with fit too.

Just FYI, Snell ratings are only good for 10 years, so SA 2005 helmets are no longer in date. They have SA 2015 helmets out now that are good till 2025. This really only applies to racing.

I usually wear the one on the left.

I always like having something in front of my jaw, so full face is a must.

Biltwell or bust! Open face. Full. Whatever your little heart desires. Plus they are a kick-ass company that fully stands behind their American made products. I have 3 of their helmets for my Motorcycle.

Hopefully you are joking! Can't tell. I wouldn't trust those poser-ific pieces of crap if you actually want to protect your head from anything more than bugs or the sun. :893karatesmiley-thu
