#2 - I also had this problem until I learned how to do it. I was grabbing the handle & pulling it. Once I learned to touch the inside to unlock then pull handle & just push the lock button with a finger it has worked great for me in any conditions. Sounds like maybe some others have a legit wet conditions issue, but for me it was user error.

I also had issues until I finally learned the trick of how it works. Now, it works all the time unless I am in a hurry and go back to the old way of trying to grab it as I pull on the door.

On the button to lock, you can also push the last two buttons on the keypad to lock the doors.

That's good to know. I've never ever used the keypad. Seems like such an old technology...I'm curious to see how many other Raptor owners have NEVER used the keypad...

On my Gen 1 I used the keypad all the time. Now, with my Gen 2 I have not set a custom code and I never remember the factory code, so I only use it occasionally to lock the doors.

You can also unlock all doors with the keypad if your truck is setup to only unlock the drivers door by pressing 3-4 after pressing the unlock code on the keypad.

You can also unlock and drop your tailgate with the keypad.

Love my 2018 Tuxedo SCAB. Best truck I've ever owned.

1 - Wondering about the dash and radio brightness settings. I like to have the dash on it's lowest setting for night time driving. If I set it to it's lowest setting, the dash seems to remember the setting upon startup, but the radio display seems 3-4 ticks brighter. if I increase the brightness the radio display dims to match the dash. I then tick the brightness down and the dash and radio get dimmer together and match. Same thing again the next morning on startup. I have the headlight switch on auto if that matters.

2 - Sometimes when I walk up to my locked truck and squeeze the handle it won't unlock. I can see the lock pin wiggle like it's trying to unlock, but it doesn't. I can stand there and keep trying and sometimes it will eventually unlock after 2-5 handle squeezes, other times I just reach in my pocket and do it from the key fob. Never had it not unlock from the FOB. Same thing when locking it. Sometimes when I get out and press the door handle button, the lock pin just wiggles, but doesn't go down. Repeated presses have the same effect, sometimes it locks, other times I have to use the FOB.

I have the same issue with my door not unlocking when I first grab the handle. My guess it is a normal issue. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it doesn’t unlock at all

#2 is a common issue. Definitely more pronounced when wet. Avoid grabbing the handle with a full hand. Slide your fingers in and make deliberate contact with the back side of the handle. It will unlock more reliably the first time, then you can grab and pull.
