SoCal dealer 2019 Screw 801a $68k thoughts?

Well after months of lurking and researching I’m finally looking at pulling the trigger on SoCal truck.
Crazy dealer mark ups are gone.
Demand has softened. A LOT.

I’m looking at a 2019, SCREW, 801a plus few extras.
Invoice is $65,103
MSRP $70,015
Advertised price
$68,988

They offered $35,000 for my trade (bottom trade in) and 72 or 84 month financing.

I was also blown away they are now offering “leasing” on raptors. Yup.
They ran numbers just for ***** n giggles.

Thoughts?

Meh, got a dealer to do 1k less than invoice. You need to look outside of California for the best deals. Cant help you on trade in, around here we get a tax discount with trade ins.

I was able to get 10% off on 2019s around the country (I'm in SoCal), but invoice was the best I found for 2020s. I contacted a bunch of transport companies and they ranged from $1,500 to $2,500 from around the country back to CA.

I did not order the 2020, found a local 2019 for almost as good of a price. Opelika ford in AL offered me the deal on the 2020.

I ended up just ordering a 2020 at invoice from an out of state dealer. Factoring in the transport costs from out of state the difference was only a few k. The only negative is the 8-12 week quoted wait. PM me for details.

Also, I started my search looking for a 2019 SCab and ended up ordering a 2020 SCrew so the above links might not match your search exactly. However, the sales managers were all willing to deal so I hope it provides some direction.

Did you end up working out a deal at Villa? Currently in the market but debating used (‘17 in Avalanche) or new.. seeing your post with under invoice would lead me to buy a new one. I’m in OC as well.

Bait and switch... They quoted me MSRP + $5,000. Insane, such a joke.

No wonder they have so many of them on the lot.
