The V8 will never happen as the article strongly suggests. Ford is so heavily invested in EcoBoost tech that they have few other inclinations and even fewer options. Face it. Twin turbo V6 powerplants are Ford's go-to engine until they go all electric. If you have a GEN1 Raptor, maintain it obsessively because one day it'll be worth as much as your house.

while it would be cool to see it happen, there's no way ford is going to put the Bullitt tuned 5.0L in the Bronco. even if they did gearing and 33/35s would slow it down so it wouldn't catch the SRT, besides they're 2 different vehicles for different applications.

my wife has the SRT GC, it's an animal.

This goes back to my comments earlier about the Bronco. I am not sure that we all understand what is coming. I think that the BroncoII is the smaller suv with the 2.7 ecoboost. The regular bronco is based on the F150 frame as shown. This restores a bit more faith in what they do... maybe that new 4.8 will be in the Bronco.
