OK Cole...Sorry to bother but I gotta ask a few more questions
I have downloaded and unzipped the files and moved to USB Drive
Ready to go out to the Raptor and do this....BUT

Will this affect or do anything to the navigation or maps? Does this update the maps too.
Will I lose any features. Anything new ?
Does that badass RAPTOR logo still pop up when first starting the truck....lol.

Thanks
Waiting on you before I proceed

It updates everything and retains all settings.

I can’t get the USB3 file to open and show me the three subfiles.....arggggg!

did you get a FULL download?

I noticed that USB2 clocks in at a PORTLY 13.7gb and the first time I didn’t get a full push, which left it suffixed with “.download” (mac).

usb3 is pretty small though.

For the Mac crew, Ford recommends stuffit expander (to unzip). At first I tried other stuff and had trouble so I reluctantly followed Ford’s recommendation. it worked.

I unzip and get
auto install.lst
DONTINDX.MSA
SyncMyRide (folder)

I show 2x tar.gz files in that folder.

Splash only at shutdown? Anyone else notice this behavior? Otherwise the update sounds like a piece of cake.

Update worked fine. 10 mins max. No issues.

1). Unzip .rar file to desktop. It will generate a folder called USB3.

2). There are 3 files inside the folder. Drag those to your USB stick.

3). My 2019 recognized the stick almost instantly.

4). Update took 10 mins once plugged in.

Yeah it’s only at shutdown, but the plus is that everything is ready instantly as soon as the truck is started.

I followed the instructions on this other site because it was easier. You just download the zip file, unzip them to the USB drives, and then plug them into the truck.

I have a 2018 with Sync 3 so it did require a format, but everything worked.
