I just picked this thing up, thought it was Turbos spooling, but its the same sound under all loads, rpms, etc...Not sure exactly what it could be. It does sound like a Turbo Whistle. Any ideas?

It's not the transmission. That's for sure. It increases it's high pitch sound as the speed of the vehicle increases.

Just an idea.

Make sure your air filter box is seated all the way.

Check all the seals on the trucks.

Does it make the sound when you are setting at a stop light? (Should have asked this first) lol.

Oooh good idea. No Noise when standing still it's a whine/whistle noise - sounds so much like a turbo whistle, but it's not.

I got another one for you. (Just another crazy idea.) Does it sound likenits in the cab or outside of the cab?

If it starts to happen as you accelerate and gets louder the faster you go. Their could be a bad connection or lose connection on a ground somewhere. You might be hearing it through the speaker system. I know that can cause a wine/whistle sound in some vehicles.

Well mine has it. 1 day old 2020, picked it up with 7 miles on it .

It is driveline, pitch changes with speed. Does not matter the engine rpm, transmission gear, 2wd or 4wd. It gets louder the more you accelerate , you can change the tone with throttle.

My previous 2 Raptors were silent.

I have reached out to let the dealer know. Likely be a week or so before I take it in.
