Does anyone change the bolts out or do anything to prevent it?? I sized them up they are M8x1.25 but it’s a short bolt (like 1/4”)

They are 8mm long. Pretty hard to find. I priced out McMaster Carr, and by the time I got bolts, washers, and shipping, the price was comparable to the nicer flanged method bolts that dont need a washer. method, however told me, "They had no way to ship me bolts out on the east coast, so I would have to source them elsewhere." method wheels can kiss my ass.

Purchased the ProClip mounting system for my phone. A little pricey, but I wanted something pretty solid and was in a good location. I didn't want a cup holder type, nor did I want something that stuck to the windshield. This model seems to have gotten really good reviews and many have used it. So I'm hoping this works out well. Should arrive this weekend!

I removed the front plate holder and put in the Lowe’s 3/16” nylon plugs as described a couple pages back. Super easy. I was surprised the rivets were aluminum. I had been expecting plastic I guess.

I did add a dab of plumbers goop to each plug. Not sure it was necessary.

After reading a few threads on it, I finally took a drill to my front end and drilled out the rivets holding the ugly and obstructionist front plate bracket on. Good riddance, that thing is just gross.

I followed the forum's advice and picked up two little nylon plugs at Lowe's for like $1, they fit perfectly, and really don't need any paint, as they blend in well.

I also added a bit of flair to the front doors, fighting forward!

Where did you buy the flag from?
