I switched over to manual mode in the sand and prefer it now tbh , because of my frustrations with the auto

Yup, with this much power, auto mode simply doesnt work in low traction situations as wheelspin induces a shift.

My biggest complaint is the lack of power down low,I like to ride the throttle to slide around (I don't do a lot of high speed stuff) using torque to modulate the truck not rpm.

what.

The truck makes peak torque at like 2500 rpm

If its hooked up and building boost it does.
When there is no load on the engine it's just a v6 and makes v6 power. Which sucks lol

Baja and sand mode shift much too early when WOT From a stop in the sand. The engine revs up and the tires spin, then its shifts . Only thing is, the truck is going only 20-30 mph. Now the truck is in higher gear, and it realizes it’s barely moving, then has to downshift again for more power. Creates lag and confusion for the computer so when I try and get a fast start or drag in the sand, others are already pulling away

So back off the throttle a bit. The gen 1 - or any vehicle for that matter - will do similar things when traction is insufficient for pedal demand. My friend (who just won 3rd place in RaptoberX this year) has this happen in his supercharged Gen 1 if he's lazy with pedal control.

Speaking from my experience, you probably need to air down quite a bit more. I thought 25psi was sufficient, but that's proven not nearly enough. You could also add weight to the bed, as the Gen 2 is extremely light in the back end and it makes maintaining traction difficult.

There are certainly dead-zones, but comparing to supercharged 6.2s at the track, the Eco pulls harder in every scenario, even when boost is dropped. I've got several videos up comparing the trucks, and unless I missed something on my track metrics, the only times I got out-accelerated was when I couldn't get traction.

Great post, but I doubt I'll use most of the settings. Normal, Normal, Normal with Comfort steering seems to be just fine for me. I do leave it in 4A, mostly because it defeats the automatic engine shutoff. I notice no difference between 2WD and 4A at all. They feel exactly the same to me. I do put it back in 2WD for highway driving.

I am confused about the traction control button. I have not found that on my truck, but it's a base 800a (Quite rare, if my search for a used one is any indication, and just what I wanted: The less tech, the better), so maybe I don't have one.

I am a set-it-and-forget-it kind of guy. Not going to do anything off road except for unpaved roads and easy trails for sight seeing, and then getting around on hunting leases. Zero interest in going fast or crawling over rocks. In snow - I just made an offer on a Colorado property at 7K feet elevation - I'm sure the standard 4x4 settings will be fine.

The truck is definitely overkill for me, but I really love the ride, and disregarding potholes and speed bumps is nice.

One question about 4H. Does it have speed limit? I went through owner's manual and didn't find anything. But I remember for Jeep, you should not switch to 4H with >45mph(or 55mph), and should not drive higher than that.

Another question about air down. What is the safe psi for the stock beadlock wheel? Quote for owner's manual:
"If your vehicle is equipped with the optional bead lock compatible wheel, you have the ability to convert this wheel to use a true bead-lock ring, which allows operation at low tire pressures when offroad to minimize risk of de-beading the tire."
It seems to me that we can not go too low(5psi?) with stock truck which have optional beadlock wheel.
