1- week update on original post for anyone that's watching - no update. Been at dealer 7 days, they have not found source of problem yet.

Days of ownership = 33
Days in service = 7

Correct, it has been 27 days.

They expect at LEAST another 2 weeks, as they do not have the parts.

This is curious. If they do not know what is wrong with it, what "parts" are they saying they do not have??

Something seems off...

Towing

We recommend towing a four-wheel drive vehicle with all wheels off the ground, such as using a wheel lift and dollies or flatbed equipment. However, it is acceptable to use a wheel lift to raise the rear of your vehicle so long as, depending on vehicle configuration, you perform the following before towing:
  • If your vehicle has an electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case, make sure you switch the four-wheel drive control to the 2H position before towing.

They are saying that waiting on the famous cam phasers and the timing chain tensioner.

Odd thing - is that the truck had none of the 'symptoms' of the cam phasers.... did not idle rough or make that diesel sound on startup.

It simply went into limp mode out of nowhere, 3 separate times with error codes I shared in original post.
