I was trying to see what is the good 0-60 time for a truck with basic mods and couldn’t find many posts.

Would be interesting to see what guys are getting and what mods and testing conditions are like.

I was able to get today 4.8 and all I have is AMS Intercooler, AMS Turbo Inlet pipes, Cobb intake and “work in progress” tune from Goose.

I mean my best has been about 2.6 on my ZX14 and just a tick over 2.6 on my 10R. The 14 is a handful though, no electronics to speak of, so you have to be pretty judicious with throttle and clutch. My 10r has traction, wheelie and launch control so it’s harder, but not impossible to screw up. So the 10R is easier to keep in the mid to high 2 second to 60 range.

;)

I haven’t drag raced in a few years, so there’s room for improvement here.

4.8 is ok though.

Well let’s discuss Gen2 with basic bolt-on mods :)

2.6 is impressive and I’ll try to hit that on my E63S Wagon soon

I have an 18 with the Whipple stage 1 SPD turbo adapters and Magnaflow cat-back and I am no where close to 4 sec 0-60. Im in Ca and can only run 91 octane but it seems everyone on here exaggerates performance. I’m gonna try the AMS boost tubes next and maybe get it dyno’d and maybe a custom tune. But I would like to race some of these guys saying 600+HP and 4 sec 0-60 to see the difference.

I am on CA 91 as well if it makes any difference.

I was also running 4.2-4.3 prior to changing my tires. MPT 93, in sport mode, 4AWD. Whipple intercooler, a typical CAI, a cat back, spd adapters, and some 542 plugs.

that being said...

with true 35 inch Toyo open country RTs and a 1.75 inch level with rear Deavers.

I’m around 4.6-4.8. The extra 10 pounds per tire and increased rolling resistance definitely rob power, but If I was worried about a half second to 60mph I’d be better served getting into another one of my vehicles.

To get any quicker is going to require a full tear down and some real turbos... and I’m just not sure that is worth it at this point with a confirmed supercharged V8 around the corner.
