You could negotiate having a stock radiator put back in as part of the sale or right afterwards so there are no powertrain warranty issues (if no tune). Have them do the OEM grill too since it has to come off to do the radiator anyway. Lots of people have upgraded radiators and have not heard of any issues strictly from that.

I don’t think you can use a stock or stock location radiator with that bumper tbh. I already spoke to them & they agreed to swap the grille back to stock & take the decals off. They are definitely working with me & want to sell it.

The stealth fighter bumper is 100% bolt on and should work fine with stock intercooler...certainly looks like several of the display vehicles on ADDs website are using the stock one. The frame cut ones do require intercooler relocation. I agree that just an intercooler should not be grounds to void the entire drivetrain warranty, but you can always check with ADD with regards to stock intercooler if matters to you.

Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely look into it & get with them on that.

@WHYUMAD Im going for an oil change there on Wednesday for my Rap. I will also be in the area on this Monday running errands. If I can be of any assistance also, please let me know. Id be happy to help as well since I am off work due to injury at the present. 707 subs out their work to a place called FIT Automotive and Suncoast Customs, both located in SRQ. And both very reputable. I do business with FIT Automotive so I have some contacts there. Don't want to step on Supergumby5000s toes but just throwing out another plan should you need one. Good luck, brother.

BTW, love the Super Duty dooley. My husband has a 2017 F250 that I absolutely just love to drive. The new Super Dutys are so much fun as well. Anyway, hit me up if I can be of assistance.

Im sure they are. That truck has been there for quite sometime. I was working in N. Sarasota back in April and the truck was there and had been for a bit. I feel confident they are tired of sitting on it.

Got this text today from my salesman over there. So that’s good...print screening it for future reference if needed. [emoji23]

What that means is there will be no compensation from FOMOCO to their Service Dept. for the expense of the new engine. If a warranty is denied by another dealer this means the repair will be recorded on Oasis, the network Ford uses. In doing so any other dealer will not have some magical formula to get the warranty work authorized by Ford. Sure, said dealer can do the work for you and absorb the expense, but they usually don't really enjoy "eating" said expense.

With that said, your GM has the ability to do so. His call. Just wont have a very good P&L for the week.

I get that & honestly, I highly doubt the intercooler would cause an issue tbh. I was just worried about the engine blowing from some other issue & the dealer seeing the intercooler & immediately voiding the entire engine warranty. I think this is a low risk to all involved. I’m just glad it is documented now.

I appreciate it & thank you for giving me their subs, so now I can look into their quality of work further. I’ll let y’all know if I do pull the trigger on it & again, I greatly appreciate y’all reaching out to me to help me if needed.

Its a good point but not entirely true. This all depends on how the dealer plays ball.

I'm speaking from experience. Had one dealer tell me no, and the next dealer got it approved. The first dealer didnt want to do the work for whatever reason and denied even trying to submit it through the system because they 'knew' it would be rejected. Well, the next dealer got it approved.

Its all in presentation too. FoMoCo will look at whatever the dealership submits to decide if warranty is applicable or not. FoMoCo may request additional photos/info, and may not.

You're right though. If dealer A goes through the whole process and FoMoCo rejects, it'll be tough to get it pushed through a second time without one hell of a fight.
