Well I am done for now! I've had the Eibachs on for all most 6 months/5,000 miles and they are perfect in every way. Did Snoball and TRR and they performed awesome off road.

BigBlue can you walk me through the wheel and tire combinations here in both 35 and 37”? The top pic is showing 17” Black Rhino Rokus with what tire and size? I’m looking at the same wheel in bronze for my Performance Blue 2019.

Sure. The same 17" black rhino roku's in all pics. The 1st two pics are with 35X12.5X17 Toyo M/Ts. In the last pic the tires are 37X12.5X17 Cooper Discoverer SST's. Ironically, the 37" Coopers are 1lb lighter per tire than the 35" Toyos. Regards.

I installed my Eibach's a little over a month ago. I love them but I think I am slightly sagging in the rear. I also noticed that when I'm at higher speeds (80MPH+) the front end feels a little light and unplanted. I'm thinking it may be because of the weight distribution under acceleration is mostly in the rear. I talked to Deaver and pending some measurements, the owner of the company is suggesting a +1 with bump pads or the +2 kit. I asked about the coating on the springs and he agreed it's not the best but to keep it in the US, it's the best coating he can provide. I'm thinking I may go the +2 and I'm even contemplating the ICON's since the coating is better.

I've read through a ton of posts regarding this and I still have a few questions that hopefully are simply answered.

- If I go Deaver +2 is that going to be 2" higher than it is right now on the stock setup?
- I was told the sag with weight in the bed or tongue weight wouldn't be cured by the leaf springs. Should I go HD if I tow/carry weight 10 times a year?
- Should I be planning on aftermarket bump stops?

The Deaver +2 is going to be the same as stock height. It eliminates the 2" block and is a 2" taller spring netting a 0 height change. The Deaver +3 is going to be 1" over stock height.

The truck will sag more with Deavers or Icon springs, due to the progressive nature. You're going to get more comfort and compliance both on-road and off-road. The downside is additional sag during towing/hauling. The HD spring will aid in this however, the truck will ride rougher when unloaded as the springs are tighter. What type of weight are you hauling and over what distance for those 10 times a year you have a trailer?

You should plan for either OEM bump stop extensions or aftermarket bump stops as the springs will eliminate the OEM bump stop and you can damaging the rear springs at full compression.

Thanks Nick! Makes sense now. I’d probably have to go with the +3 Deavers but still considering the Icon’s simply because of the coating.

As far as towing 10 times a year, I’m not sure exactly how much tongue weight there would be but the load is usually about 5000 pounds. I’m sure a weight distribution hitch would be beneficial. I sometimes carry weight in the bed but only for a weekend camping trip or hunting trip. Most likely the load is 400-500 pounds max. I’m sure I will get some sag there so HD springs would be beneficial but I’m not sure how rough a ride they offer when empty. I guess the Icon would have an advantage here as well since they are somewhat adjustable. I’m sure it’s not a quick process but I haven’t looked deep into it yet.

All that being said, I’m sure you can see my debacle....

While the Icon springs are modular, the change in them requires complete removal and disassembly/reassembly of the springs. Not a quick change.

I'd go with Icon or Deaver +3 (non-HD) and then go with Timbren helper springs or add SVC bump stops and adjust them to tow mode for those times when you're towing/hauling. The Timbrens take roughly 30 minutes to install/uninstall. The SVC bumps take about 10 minutes to adjust down.

I haven’t looked into the SVC bump stops. What does the adjustment to tow mode do?
