I’ll keep it in mind for next year. Tell me a bit about the terrain you have mapped...is it best to be able to air down/up at trailhead? Stock tires alright?

haha. That was fun! Got a blue ‘19 now. Stock shocks. We’ll have to see how hard I can beat on it.

No real need to air down until the day at the dunes. And there’s plenty of time and space there to do it. I’ve only run stock tires there. Typically single-truck wide gravel roads.

If I could give a little overview of it, which this is the internet and America, so I guess I will... It’s kind of a camping/trail running event. Pretty laid back. Usually several families (with some teenage-ish age kids). Kind of go as fast as you’d like up front, or hang out toward the back and suck in as much dust as you’d like.

It’s usually Noah up front, a coupe guys through the pack that have run it several times that act as sub-guides, and then Wyo-Paul in the back. Typically seems like we stop every 20-30 minutes to regroup, check equipment, wizz on a tire and go back at it.
