I have seen this topic kicked around some, but really no real answer. The truck will not be a baja truck (I live in Louisiana) & is purely to commute in comfort & style. I had a Gen 1 Raptor when they came out & always wanted to give it more of an aggressive widebody look, but never got around to it.
What is an adequate approach to filling a slightly aggressive widebody fender such as the ADV fenders mentioned in the title? I'm not a fan of huge wheel spacers (5 mm is fine), so I was seeing what would be needed to properly fill the fenders, if anything. I have yet to see a picture of a stock suspension Gen 2 Raptor with these fenders on them. Would any changes to the suspension be needed at all to fill these fenders, or could I simply just get an aftermarket wheel to do this? I may do serious suspension upgrades in the future, but I am looking to install fenders, bumpers, & wheels as my first round of mods with minimal suspension mods such as leveling it out.
I'd appreciate any feedback on this & if there are any pictures of THESE FENDERS or fenders of similar proportions & not the Deberti style fenders that are much more exaggerated in flare & rise, I'd love to see. I'm trying to get this right on my first go around & the stock Raptor suspension is more than I'd ever need tbh. I do not want to over-stress components though & "band aid" issues. I'm not really interested in a long or mid travel kit, so hopefully that's not needed. Thank you.
