Hey guys, does anyone know how the gen 1 vs the gen 2 frame of the truck measures up? I have a gen 1 and someone willing to part out all OEM gen 2 front end parts to me.
Ive got the ability to to the modifications needed for a conversion like this but i dont know if the gen 2 truck uses the same base frame, or if its much wider or taller which would make the fenders look funky where they match with the doors. Any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks!

I'm going to say none of it will fit, that's why companies like McNeil Racing and ADV offer conversion kits.

I’ve looked into both and really like the McNeil personality. Pretty sweet being able to tilt forward and gain access to engine. There are a few out there who have already done this and one in particular is from a group called savage garage. I will throw up a link later. Super nice install and product. The ADV looks a bit bulky and not very smooth to me but I haven’t seen a lot of them out there yet to really make a good decision on that brand just yet. But the McNeil Just seems to look a bit more on point and not so bodykit kinda look. Just my opinion though.
