GEN 1 Console/Dash cubbies? Useful ideas...

Just curious on what to do with the somewhat useless cubbies that are even too small to be used for current normal sized smart phones. I was hoping to “brainstorm” and get a community chat as to ideas for making these little pockets valid.

DITTO..!! Been wondering since I got my Gen 1 ,6 months ago...so far only thing that fits is my little I-Pod...its really useless,as are all the spaces and holders on the inside console lid....would love to know what others have used them all for...and any suggestions with the "Black-Hole console"...things go in and are never seen again....seems it could of been designed better with more than just a cheap little tray...

The space on the dash, I use for my flip phone. Fits great. I don't need a smart phone...time waisters. The removable console tray works good for me, as I don't put much crap in my truck.

Anyone repurposed the cubbies instead of just finding small items to place in them. Just trying to get ideas that might better serve a more viable application.
