What is the USB download procedure?

You download the update from Ford, expand the file onto a USB thumb drive, plug it into one of the USB ports in the lower tray and the truck automatically loads the update.

"Can we all just get along?"

2017 Ford Raptor. 50k miles and counting. Lovin' it. No issues, EXCEPT frequently malfunctioning tire sensors ever since I put 37" tires on the Blue Beast. Has anyone had similar issues? Thanks.

My '19 has a hard shift from 3 to 4 or 5 when cold. I took it in and dealer said they did a reset and will relearn. I haven't put many miles on since but it's still acting up.

Where did you get that bracket for that way cool light bar? Who makes the light bar? It appears to be original bumper. Am I correct? Ty

Having similar issues on cold start. Raptor logo frozen on screen, no media connectivity, sometimes the screen freezes in time and locks me out. The latest issue is a blacked out screen, and then every so often, while driving down the road, the reverse camera pops up even though I am driving forward on the highway.

Stopped by the dealer today, and service tech thinks the SYNC module is going out. But I am having a hard time getting the updates through the wireless download. What is the USB download procedure?

My 19 was selected by Ford for random factory testing before delivery (about 1 out of every 200 vehicles) so it came with ~24 miles on it from the factory. I have had no problems in 2k miles except for the sync system. After about 1k miles it started freezing, not bluetoothing to the cell phone and doing things as described above. First the dealer wanted to update the system themselves. After this did not solve the problem the dealer replace the sync system. There have been no further problems with the system since then.

Good to know, thanks. I am going to update via USB, and if that fails, i will have the SYNC ovule replaced and hope for the best.

I have a 2019 PB SCREW 802A and my entire onboard dash computer has gone out. I’m disappointed in the poor quality of that part. It started blinking on and off while driving down the road where I would lose all my gauges. Speedometer and Tachometer would shut down and have nothing while driving. I have less than 3k miles. Ordered and delivered with 2 miles on it, bought in March. Everything else is great...but this is huge disappointment. May take a week to fix due to waiting on part.

Have you resolved your issue? I just posted a new thread because mine is doing the same thing and looks like yours. My question to you is, was this isolated to your cluster? Purchased in May, for two months and 1800 miles no issues. My dash started this yesterday AFTER I plugged my phone into my USB. Did it again today. ONLY after using USB.

After having my entire instrument panel replaced my problem is solved. I use my remote start a lot here in South Carolina since it’s so hot in the summer time. I haven’t had new issues. I’ll post if I do. The one thing Ford forced on my end was that I had to drive my truck straight to the dealer so they could see my issue. Wouldn’t take my word..:had to give proof! Good luck tho!

My 2019 had a temperature sensor fail at 399 miles, replaced fairly quickly by dealer (4 days). Thousands of electronic gadgets on this engine so chances for failure are high.

Hello all.
I've got a 2019 802a. Picked up begining of June 15,200 km (yes Canadian , about 8,000mi) yes I drive a lot.
I despise the Auto locks and the inability to turn it off on this truck.

My only issue so far his that 1 I can't get my forscan software to communicate with the computer or the vehicle through the OBD port. And I assume the same problem is also preventing me from using my tuner. I did a quick search of the forum but if anybody has any insight I would greatly appreciate it.IMG_20190717_200710.jpg
