Hello all, first post here just picked up a loaded white 2019 supercrew 2 days ago. Absolutely love this truck its just ridiculous fun on and offroad. I had been looking for a couple weeks and finally decided a raptor would fit me best. After that, I was researching all of the available fun addons out there for it. Coincidentally, Cobb came out with support for 2019's the exact evening I bought mine. I have read through every tuning thread I can find on here and still have three big questions.

1) Cobb vs MPT w/ Ngauge? I talked to MPT and according to them don't hold my breath for 2019's on the accessport "We just recently started getting into their software for the Raptors, but there is still quite a bit of testing to do before we put our tunes on that platform."

However they claim ~90-100hp on their tune with no aftermarket intercooler or CAI. They say it is based on a stock truck and do not need any modifications. Cobb, to produce the same numbers, has their stage 2 kit which requires an intercooler or they say run stage 1 only. MPT says an intercooler is great to add but not required. Clearly I am missing something here??? I do know MPT includes trans tune which is a huge thing.

2) MPT sells the Accessport w/ 3x MPT tunes for 2018's at $925. Cobb sells their Stage 1+ kit with CAI and filter and Accessport including tunes for $995. That's a fair bit of money for their tunes over Cobb's on the same platform vs a package with CAI.

3) Hate start stop. MPT says with Ngauge their tunes allow the auto on/off to be permanently disabled which is great. They also claim a better throttle response in their tunes. How does this compare to the Accessport which has a built in "pedal commander" type?

I don't particularly care about gauges or monitoring as I will not have either of them hooked up if not changing a tune.

General thoughts and experiences? I have had personal great luck with Cobb on other vehicles, I see a massive amount of people here say nothing but positives and great feedback on MPT.

Thanks everyone.

This is extremely helpful guys. I’ve got a 2018 and just started with mods. I was looking at Cobb pretty seriously but now I’m thinking mpt.

Any of you guys have cai, upgraded Intercooler, and tune? Womdering what the best combo is.

Thanks.

I just started running their E 30 tuneAnd it is night and day over there PRx 91. Once people have fully learned the cobb set up I’m sure it’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
