Rather than start a new topic, I’m looking for information in regards to these shocks.
I don’t quite have the money for all 4 right now, so is there any problems just running the fronts while keeping the rear stock? Also, do I need anything else such as UCA’s? In most posts I read and pictures I see the guys putting on these shocks are also doing UCA’s...
I appreciate any advice or info.

I’m about 99% sold on the fox 3.0’s

You can definitely do the upgrade in stages. We've had customers do fronts first and then rears after. Additionally, you don't have to add UCAs, however, UCAs will help you get the most out of your suspension upgrades.

We've got the shocks in stock, so let us know if we can help!

Hey, so I’m in the King 3.0 vs Fox 3.0 debate now for my gen 2. I’ve had King 2.5’s on my Superduty, does anyone know if the King 3.0’s have a similar feel? From what I can read their are no unhappy customers either way. On road I prefer a tighter feel, less body roll, but don’t like the freeway expansion joint bouncing at all. Offroad will be mostly desert. Thanks for all feedback!

I recently got my Gen 2 and I am ready for some shocks I have spoke to couple of guys many had advised me to go with kings and I was ready to pull the trigger yesterday buy a very close friend of mine from California have advised me to go with icons as they are more street friendly and not stiff as the kings and being on the other side of the world (Dubai) we don’t have many trucks over here to go test them or get owners feedback now I’ll be using this truck as a DD, but when I hit the desert I really drive my truck like I stole so I am confused and can’t make a decision Icon’s or King’s?

Any input will be helpful thanks in advance.

Both are smaller companies. What will you do if you have a problem with either or them or have to rebuild them?

I have had best luck with Kings. Fox I had to rebuild at 50k. Kings went well beyond that. Icons I've had to rebuild 3x's in 100k miles. So if you like rebuilding shocks buy icons.

I have KINGS all around on my truck. I love them! KING makes the best off-road shock out there. FOX or ICONS will be more on-road friendly, but the difference is slight. I got to drive @RDFTS truck and he has FOX 3.0 up front with ICON 3.0 in the back. His truck is softer than mine on-road—it is not a major difference—it feels more like the plush feel of the Gen 1 OEM 2.5 shocks. But my truck feels more planted and attached to the road, which I love! To put it another way, if you have driven a sports car or suv that allows you to adjust the suspension from comfort to sport, the FOX and/or ICON would be like comfort mode, while the KING shocks would be like sport mode. The difference between comfort and sport is not major, you simply get a more sporty feel in sport mode than comfort.

I just drove 1600 plus miles for memorial weekend as I went down to Key West. I rented a new Lariat Ford, which I did not find comfortable at all, so I switched to an Infiniti QX60. The Infiniti was better to drive than the F150, but my Raptor with 37s and KINGs was more comfortable to drive than both.

Having Deavers makes a big difference too.
