gas cap not locking

I just realized that the gas cap is not locked when I lock the car, just mine or it is like that for everybody?

the fuel door does not lock. the filler neck is capless but you could buy a locking gas cap on the internet.

That's annoying. Any other capless car I own stays locked.

i agree if it were my Audi. but on a raptor...it is just another extra part that could fail with prolonged off road abuse.

Granted, but I don't see any G class missing options.
I love my raptor, but as many mentioned ford quality standards are reeeeally low.

I've never seen a truck with a locking fuel door before. Not an oversight ... just typical truck.

The capless filler makes it pretty near impossible for someone to siphon gas or put anything into the tank without the right funnel.

Or they just take the capless cap off and siphon the old way. It’s going to be a problem when you have 36 gallons of premium fuel available to siphon our, especially as fuel gets to be more expensive.

Never heard of anybody on the forum have anybody tamper with it. It’ll be fine.
