Spun off from this thread:

https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/hillbillie-ranch-jerseyville-il.67744/

Am hoping to organize a meetup for June 15th & 16th, to hit Hillbillie Ranch (Jerseyville IL) on the 15th, camp overnight, and hit St. Joe (Park Hills MO) on the 16th.

Dates are tentative, depending on how many people are available. We can change the date if this weekend doesn't work, however the weekend of the 8th is out for me; also wouldn't advise the weekend of the 1st, as Hillbillie has a concert (so will be packed with people).

Both locations are awesome - Hillbillie has trails, some easy, some harder, mud pits, creek crossings, a field with fast circuit around it which we did timed laps of (got my Raptor to 70mph+ on the back straight), etc. A large portion of it is wide enough for a Raptor to fit through. St Joe is all sand flats, which has potential for high speed, and generally hooning around, plus some rocks to climb over and a creek that runs through the middle.

Both Hillbillie & St Joe offer camping, can organize that once we have a date set in stone. St Joe looks to be better equipped for camping though, so might be a better idea to camp there if we're all heading that way anyway.

Would be great to get some Raptors there, or any other vehicles interested. I'll be there in my Raptor, plus a couple buddies with their vehicles too (likely a Wrangler, RZR and another F150). There are videos of my visits to both places in the link above, as well as more info if needed.

I'm in. If the dates need to be switched, that's fine with me.

Will be coming from Northeast Arkansas if anyone close by wants to drive up there together.

Finally gives me an incentive to install a roof top tent on my Leitner rack and on-board air system. :happy107:

Woot woot! sounds like a good time! Nomad my parents live in Northwest Arkansas, so depending on your city I could make a pit stop down that way from my place in Missouri.

If camping is better at St. Joe, may consider hitting the sand day 1, camping, and then hillbilly the next day just so we aren't all driving exhausted, just an option!

I live in Jonesboro, AR. If you get a route figured out, that'd be sweet.

I'm guessing @the_revisionist can make a schedule closer to the date!

Either option works - I’d say we’d probably spend less time at St Joe which was why I was thinking there Sunday, when you guys drive home (so not heading home late). Whichever way works best for you guys travelling far though!

Also once you guys hit the south side of St Louis (if we head to Hillbillie first as it’s North of St Louis), my buddies and I can join you guys in convoy, would be pretty cool!

Hillbillie on Saturday sounds better in that case.

And yeah, we can set that up for sure.

@MnFlyer - you able to do these dates? Would be cool to have you there!
Damn!

We will still be in Ireland, most likely drunk out of our gourdes.

I’m down for almost any weekend if y’all do it again, it would be awesome to meet up with everyone. My truck is too clean.

What is everyone’s availability on weekend of 22nd & 23rd? As a possible alternative. Would be cool to get as many there as possible
