Phoenix Android Audio retains Sync 3

This new update link from BIGDJE....

I can’t get it to load. It won’t grab it from
The USB. This is the first update that I’ve had trouble. I’m wondering if it is the 3-13-19 one I was sent.... and that’s why... it’s not detecting a new version?

i had same issue today had to keep unplugging it and replug it back in finally the install came up and i got it to push

So the split screen with console seems to work for me with Waze.

Is Waze the only thing that will split screen with the console open? Otherwise we are stuck with the raptor picture and mph and rpm? Just curious. It would be cool if we could have some app buttons down there.

That would be really cool but I think even if there is an update for it to work or somebody finds a way to make it work the tablet cant handle a lot going on, when im multi tasking the tablet gets really laggy, its barely usable.

Another annoying bug that is almost making me take the unit out, so GPS doesn’t work through CarPlay/Sync which we all know, that has to be fixed stat.
What I haven’t seen reported is that on longer trips over about 2.5 hours Waze (through the tablet) becomes unresponsive and says something about network problems. If you shut the truck off and back on it resets and works again. I made sure it’s not a network issue connecting to another hotspot when this is happening. I drove from Vegas to Moab and back last week and it happens between the 2 and 3 hour mark every time.
This thing has so much potential but I am 50:50 thinking about pulling it out, wish they would just get these gps bugs fixed.

I just installed one of these in my ‘17 F250. My one main issue is the volume. Every time i get in the truck, and use my steering wheel control to change the volume, up or down, it maxes out the volume in the direction i used. I’ve tried clearing the settings in the steering wheel control screen with no luck. If i turn the volume down, it goes all the way to mute, and if i try to turn it up, it goes right back to mute. Same thing if I turn the volume up initially, except it maxes out the volume. Only way I’ve found to fix it is to use a paper clip to reset the screen. Anybody else had a similar issue?

Jc85, I've been geeking out on these threads. I recall seeing one about installing the original sync unit and turning the volume all the way up and removing. The user was having problems with volume not being loud enough.

I have one in the same truck and I have the exact same problem. I talked with Phoenix radio thru FaceTime and they couldn’t figure it out. I sent them a video of the problem and they said they would send the issue to the engineers in China.
Nothing back from them yet. It’s been 3 weeks.

I just use the buttons on the unit for the volume until they figure it out.

For the people having issues with no audio from the tablet I found a way that makes it work. Whenever you stop getting sound from the tablet, you have to go to console then music on the top bar then go the the app list and select the app you want to play whatever you want to listen to, it works for me.
