Hi Guys

I’m knew to these trucks so I’m unsure what the best route to take is on this. I have looked at a few videos to see which is easier since I want to do the work myself. Basically I would like to level the front of my 2018. On my other F150’s I did it using the readylift strut spacer but with the raptor it looks like you can actually do it using collars.

Just curious what the benefits are over using one or the other.

For me since I don’t have access to a spring compressor so I am likely going to go with strut spacers unless I hear that isn’t the way to go.

I don’t off road or do trails its simply driven on regular roads.

I just want to make sure I don’t negatively impact the truck by taking the easy way out levelling it. If collars are the way to go I will bring it in and get that done.

Don't do spacer, it changes the throw of the suspension. Collars maintain the stock suspension travel limits by just adding spring preload.

rent a spring compressor for free at an auto parts store.

It's true. The Raptor is pretty maxed out on travel and increasing down travel by (the size of the spacer) will put you well outside of the range which can lead to the spring contacting the UCA. For regular street driving it'll mostly be fine but even some driveways/parking lots are steep enough to cause max droop. Rent a compressor.

Would these measurements be the same for the 2019?
Also, is there a suggested best collar to achieve level?
Thanks a lot!

... and after installing the collars do you need to get an alignment?
