Is the v8 Raptor fully functional though? Are all the drive modes available? Can you enable/disable auto stop, traction control, trail control, etc? Does cruise control still work? I'm thinking no, but haven't been able to find any info.

I called Hennessy yesterday because I was curious and the price to swap out the v6 for the v8 is 60k! That doesn't include bumpers or tires. They also keep your motor and trans as a core! Its badass but not 60k badass!

I mean I think it's cool that they did it and made it work, I wouldn't mind having that job myself. But for $60k plus your stock drivetrain no way. That gap would need to be double or triple that. Even a mild tune on a v6 Raptor is gonna close that gap a lot too. I'm hitting 4.8 0-60 in my truck with basic bolt-ons.

Wow they keep your old motor too? I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it's Hennessy we're talking about here.

Did you check out Shelby in AZ.? I bought my 2014 a couple months ago and the guy had it done in 2013 at a cost of $18K...think its up to $22K now...for base mod. which was the Supercharger/Graphics/Gauges/Seats/Air Cleaner/Coolers...everything needed to make it a bad ass 590HP truck...and of course all the Shelby tags..LOL... Seems to me its just as good as the $60K Hennessy build and you have $35K+ saved towards your next Raptor...Also in MHO...I think a Shelby would hold its value way better than an aftermarket Hennessy since Shelby & Ford have always teamed together....
