Just under 2000 miles on my '19 Raptor. Driving in sport about half throttle and switched to normal mode before the revs dropped back down. The trans started slipping BAD. Like holding a clutch halfway in. I took it easy and limped it home and got a trouble light "Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced power". Now i am hoping its related to shifting from sport to normal and some software bug but taking it in to the dealer tomorrow. Has anyone experienced this? I've seen posts about rough shifting issues, stuck in 7th gear, leaks, etc. But i have not seen anything about slipping. No other issues except slipping. Truck is 100% stock and less than 2000 miles.

Hooked up OBD tool. Pulled code P0771 - Shift solonoid E Performance or stuck off.

Took the truck in today. They said there were multiple codes showing and they need to pull the trans out to see what is going on. This sucks! I hope they can sort it out right and i don't have to worry about this happening again. My 2017 was perfect when i traded it in with 20k. I got a good video of what its doing while driving to the dealer. Keep in mind this is barely touching the gas and no boost. Any more throttle and it just slips.

Sorry to hear and please keep us updated.
They said i should hear something by Thursday. Luckily its a very good dealer and they have a HUGE service team and i know a lot of the guys personally. But still i'm worried about recurring issues starting. I would hate to be stranded with a trailer attached .

Def looks a little funky. Noted the tach jumped up to the max swing for a moment, but it didn't sound like the engine ran away. Wonder if it's motly an electrical, rather than mechanical problem. Have you checked all connectors in the engine bay, and underneath the truck to make sure they're all snug and tight? Over on the Ram 1500 Ecodiesel forums, several issues have been related to loose/wet connectors, so might check that out as well. We haven't seen many problems here with that cause, but there's always a 'first'. Good luck!

That would be nice if just a connector! But the amount of codes it had i am not so sure. And they are pulling out the trans. I did a visual check to see for anything obvious like a mouse ate through wires or something disconnected but everything looked normal. I do take it through the carwash a lot and if something were not sealed it could be wet. I also saw the tach act funny as well but no actual change in RPM but it was reading it. Also showed a shift to 1st but never felt it.
