I'm about to hit 20k miles on my 2018 and I'm not sure if the KO2's will make it much past 25K.

Looking for something that's equally capable off road and just as quiet on-road (though I have noticed the KO2's are a lot louder now than they were when new) and something with a longer tread life rating would be a good bonus as well.

I've looked around some myself already but it seems that there is no "perfect" tire and there's compromises somewhere. Be it tires being louder, or not quite as capable off road or not quite aggressive looking enough, so I'm looking for "the most perfect" tire choice, and who knows, it might be another set of KO2s

I like my Toyo Open Country R/T's. Haven't had a chance to test them off road yet however I think they are quiet for how aggressive the tread is.

I have the KM3 and I have about 6000 miles on them. I think they are fine on the highway. And off-road they did amazing for traction.

I run ridge grapplers on f350. 30k miles with little wear. Rotation and proper inflation help a lot. They are quiet and respectable off road. They are the best compromise I could find.

The Ridge Grapplers and Open Country RT's look like they would be decent replacements. Those KM3's look like they'd be great off road but significantly louder than the KO2's on road.

I have the Ridge Grapplers and absolutely love them compared to the Ko2’s, the only negative I have is the extra 5lbs per tire on the Nittos you can feel. They are great on road and off-road and seem like they would claw through anything.

Good to know. What aspect do you feel the extra weight in? Performance, MPG? both? How is their wet weather performance compared to the KO2s?

I’ve got Ridge Grapplers now, and have had at least 12 sets of Nittos on my last several rigs after being a BFG guys for over a decade. I had Ridge Grapplers on the Titan I just sold, on my new Raptor, and will put some next month on the wife’s 16 Denali 4x4. She’s currently running 305/55R20 Trail Grapplers(more for mud). Great wear and got over 43000 miles from a mid tire!!

I only have 300 miles on my truck (picked up yesterday) but combination of ******, snowy roads and driving through fields coyote hunting, I’ve been impressed with stock ko2’s. I ran ridge grapplers on last few trucks. They were good but I will stick with these or try something else next time.

The weight cost me performance and MPG, I am down a solid 3mpg with the Nittos compared to the BFG’s, The Nittos are a lot better in the wet then BFG’s. The BFG felt like ice skating in the rain and the Nittos grip a lot better, you can still spin them but you have to work at it. The Nittos look evil on the Raptor vs BFG also. Lol
