Hey guys and gals I have a 2017 raptor and just the other day when I was getting up to speed I lost engine power. It was almost like it was starving for gas. The engine light came on. I got it back to the house and it started to clear up. I let it sit for an hour and and it started up no problems but the engine light was still on. Wondering if it was bad gas or a bad sensor? Taking it to a dealership today!

check your oil. If you’re low, note how long it’s been since the last change and have it towed to the dealer. If you just add oil, you’ll only preserve the agony for down the road. If it’s low it could be the valve cover issue. When the truck senses low on oil it goes into self preservation mode, cuts power etc. It’s not the only possible cause, but it’s one possible cause.

When was the last time you changed the spark plugs? The ecoboost is known to be very tough on plugs.

Remember your last ban?

Gargamelispunkedbysmurflslayer.jpg

That one really made FRF great. I mean it was good when you got banned as sasquatch77. You really didn’t change much on your Mcnawsty registration and got quickly banned again. Your MGD and MGD. registrations actually lasted a while longer because it took you a little while to get back in the troll swing of things. But you can’t help spreading your ecoboost lies and they’re coming back like with your gargamel, gargamel. and your other “dot” ids.

You really shouldn’t post about internal combustion vehicles that you know nothing about kid icarus (really sasquatch77).

if you check around FRF, you will find the overwhelming majority of owners changing their plugs are doing it voluntarily, and without any need whatsoever. Most of them are proclaiming some sympathetic response that the truck “feels better”. Human butts are notoriously misleading on whether or not a vehicle change actually makes more power.

You will also note that Kid Icarus is a known liar and long time FRF troll as described above. She knows nothing about cars, trucks, F150s, Raptors, Fords and probably anything else in life, but does know how to troll FRF. Follow her internet advice at your own peril and your truck’s peril.

For the better part of a year she was trying to convince people to drill holes in their intercoolers, voiding their warranty.

She is just incapable of accepting the fact that the Ecoboost 3.5TT is the best engine choice for the F150 Raptor.

Any issues with sensors on the raptors? I wouldn’t doubt it if the dealership came back and said one was bad.
