woke up to 16 inches of snow, was wishing I was driving my truck today!...

I just ordered the Moroso one too, looks like a good product, yesterday I just removed the supercharger and alternator, I used permatex indianhead shellac on the new fitting into the block and on the hose onto the fitting to seal it and used a stainless worm gear clamp and reassembled everything, that seemed to fix the leak. Now I just gotta swap my shocks(I have he new rebuilds here and have the tires off already), and then wire up a boost gauge to my aero force gauges and do the fuse 27 relocation and I’m all done

I picked up my truck this morning and drove it to the jobsite. after defrost and removing 14" of snow.
Feels Gooooood! it's below freezing and early morning, so we Will need more time to get reaquainted.
I really like the sound with the exhaust, nice little growel, no drone and still relatively quite in the cab when cruzing.

I'm getting ready for this same install. I have my 700hp kit from JDM, kooks full exhaust with green cats and headers and also the oil pump gears. Did you guys find anything that wasn't included in your kits that I should pick up before I start my install? Plan to start on mine once we get clear of this cold snap. Awesome thread with some great details. Thanks for putting in the time on this write-up.

That's sweet man, Congrads!!

The kit is really well organized. the only thing mine didn't have was an elbow for one of the coolant lines.
I think it was an oversite. also if you knock an O2 sensor off the lift, it may not work and have to be replaced..... ;)

Air-oil separator and maybe a bigger radiator if your worried about heat.
I used the Full Race Eco boost Rad, it bolts up.
Driving my truck today it stayed on the O of NORMAL all day, didn't move at all. 1.25 hr drive each way and several trips from the jobsite throughout the day.

I'd also say since your doing exhaust, pull the IM and stuff off the top of the motor first, tape off the ports and then do the hedders. it's super tight doing it like I did first.... you have to be very ratchet-extension-creative. you may already know this, but we also disconnected the trans brace, loosen motor mounts and jack up the front of the motor to fit the hedders in from below. it's TIGHT. they sound awesome, made me smile every startup today.

2 things i'm curious about, the fans run all the time. anyone here figured out how to turn them off or have them come on at Temp?

Also, the shifting seemed a little sluggish today, could be PCM reboot, re-learn....
anyone messed with the trans part of the tune, or will the PCM learn over time and tighten that up?

If you get the fan adjustment in the Tune the fans won't be running all the time they will turn on and off to the temp settings.
They may run slightly longer then stock settings, it's not going to burn the fans out.
And they wouldn't be running when doing 80 mph on the highway unless your towing with the AC on up an incline and it's 100 degrees out.

Another option is using an AUX switch for the fans, saw a thread on it here somewhere...

Ben, That's not a bad idea either, i've wondered about doing that to the normal fans when they go on hover craft mode in the summer, they're so loud you have to turn the truck off at drive in's ect.....
