I don't need a tremendous amount of additional light. Without going to an external light situation like this, is there a higher powered LED bulb that anyone has used in the stock reverse light location to just increase the output by 2x?

You can't replace the stock bulb. It's a proprietary configuration/board from Ford.

The best option is the Baja Designs S2 Reverse Kit. I'm a dealer so naturally I have the best and most brightest on my truck... BUT for my reverse, I stuck with their S2 Reverse Kit as is. That's with their S2 Sports. I could have put S2 Pros in, but the S2 Sports work GREAT for reverse, no need to screw with perfection... it's well worth it and they blend in nicely

I saw someone say that somebody had used a LED bar under the bumper for a reverse light. That has me intrigued. Does anyone have pictures of that or any experience with that setup? What kind of bar was used?
