They don’t have any specs on the cams on their website, I do know that I got the complete race heads paired with them which should make a big difference. But yes the pistons were selected for a non boost setup. I do know the pistons and rods were NOT cheap, ceramic coated Ross pistons, billet Manley rods.
I too carry a lot of weight, full bed rack with 2 37s spares, offroad jack, removable winch that quick attaches to front mount. Never saw the need for an additional tank beyond the 36gal, I do also carry 10gal when offroad though. Going to get it weighed when motors done and see what the weight is.

I thought about doing a similar winch setup - (NICE - front or rear with out 70+ Lbs hanging constantly over the front wheels) But I'm getting older and having to pickup slide in and remove my winch in a unknown environment would be sketchy for me. I'm getting up there in age. I went with a deer catcher style bumper instead with a permanently mounted Smittybuilt X20 Comp 12000Lbs. I'm in the finishing stages for the bumper right now and should have the majority of the welding done by the end of this month. I also have a SCAB - 25 gallons of gas thus the extra reserve. Next year I'll be driving up parts of some frozen rivers in Alaska and fuel fill ups will be limited. Truck will be heavy and I am concerned. Last time i did that we were on snow mobiles quite a bit lighter and a hell of a lot smarter. I'll be a lot warmer in my truck though.

What in gods name are you doing to the poor truck to think you need a new motor at 110,000 miles?
I don't need a motor at 110,000 miles. I just want a bullet proof bottom end with 700+ flywheel HP that will probably break everything else LOL. I don't want to pull my motor and have the truck down while I rebuild the original motor. Making a 2+ year plan gives me plenty of time to do it. I already have a motor lined up. No pressure because of a sidelined vehicle. 110,000 mile engine & transmission with complete maintenance records is easier to sell that one with no history. It is what it is.

So a few months ago my truck was used in an unnamed tv show (can’t say til it airs) and unfortunately the motor was destroyed. Good news is it was covered, and that’s all I can say about that for now.
I myself actually blew the original motor about a year ago. Some friends and I were in the mountains messing around, I hit some small jumps, enough to dislodge the OEM liner on the drivers side, so when I went through a puddle, water went directly up the intake tube and destroyed the motor. It truely was a perfect storm. So I had the motor replaced, and that second motor was the one destroyed by the show.

That being said, I decided this time to do go all out. I called Livernois. A few months later and a lot of phone calls and emails, my 6.6L 400 cube stroker race motor is finished being built. This is the most powerful Raptor motor they make without a supercharger. Yes some will ask why not a much cheaper LS motor. The main reason is, besides very high end trucks and race vehicles who replace the entire brain, no one really has done it for the average person, and I was not about to be a guinea pig! (Motor specs at bottom)

The motor is going in next week, I am leaving it NA, so we set the compression to 9:5:1 Its being paired with stainless works ceramic coated headers and full 3” exhaust off road pipes, not cats, and 2 magnaflow mufflers. Intake will be an SB intake, BBK throttle body, and a Moroso oil catch can. Also adding Advanced Fiberglass Concepts fenders +2 with liners so I don’t have a repeat of the first motor. As soon as the motor is in it’s getting dyno tuned and properly broken in. As soon as I have pictures of the motor and the install I will update this post as well as the progress and hiccups that I’m sure will happen. As well as the dyno with the HP gains.
