Brand new Raptor owner - Just picked up my 2018 Raptor this week. After researching the forum here I am leaning towards the MPT 93 tune as I am already frustrated with the pedal response and shift points. Couple of questions.

1. Price - does MPT offer a discount through this forum? I have seen prices quoted on here by members for $600 versus the $699 on website.

2. When - also have seen a number comments about when to install. Now or should I wait for couple 1,000 miles?

3. Mounting - I have used tunes in other vehicles in the past and did not mount the tuner or keep it active. I assume I can do the same here?

Any help or thoughts are always appreciated

They had run some holiday sales but no forum discount as far as I know.
I loaded mine up with only a few hundred miles.
You don't have to leave the N gauge connected.

I waited till my second oil change after 5,000 miles just to be safe given the plague of cam phaser and oil issues.

If you just want to take care of the throttle response you can get a Pedal Commander. we are running 10% OFF and FREE shipping using promo code PC10

Also have you looked into Palm Beach Dyno and thier tunes? They make a great tune that gives good power and daily drive ability. WE offer them and can get you taken care of. the programmer itself does not need to stay connected. message me with any questions and for a quote

Where is Palm Beach dyno located? What makes their tune better/different from MPT?

They are in Boynton Beach, FL. MPT makes a good tune as well but I am a big fan of PBD. Rob and Ken are the tuners there and they have a big following of customers. They are huge with the mustang crowd tuning some of the fastest mustangs out there. They have tuned many Raptors as well building good power and reliability with great daily driving manners. Good group of guys too that are also enthusiast. Often at the track and often helping others.

I got the tune loaded and the difference is nite and day. Amazing - I bought the 93 and 91 using the 91 for now as I don't have 93 gas loaded
