hello Raptor folk

I’m finally ready to purchase a Raptor and would greatly appreciate any advice.

I’m looking at Gen 2 loaded. I’m torn between used and new. Does anyone experience frequent dealer visits on repairs? Should I be worried about warranty or no warranty? Also many dealers I have talked to out here in AZ will not budge off MSRP or higher. Any advice on how to get the best deal. I have read many threads so far and I’m thinking a new 2018 if I can get a good price. I’m open to all suggestions. Thank you

If you plan to buy local, go to Sanderson Ford and ask for Mike Gilbert. You may not get below MSRP, but they're the best dealership around. I've bought 10 vehicle them and get awesome treatment there. They have one showing in stock, but usually have more that are not listed.

Don’t pay over MSRP for a Raptor unless you have F*** you money. There was a time when MSRP was about the best you could hope for, but late ’18 and recent buyers are getting well under MSRP. Don’t limit your search to local, you can buy out of state and have the truck delivered to your local dealer via Ford and the selling dealer. or fly out and drive home, or implore your local stealerships to not be greedy $hits and make you go somewhere else.

Good luck

Order a 2019 in November, the truck is in transit now to the dealer. I got it for a thousand under msrp and they threw in the wheel locks and bed liner. That’s in pa though

I have been browsing some threads of best prices and it seems like east coast has the best deals. If I do buy from out of state dealer, do they assist you with purchase? I haven’t ever bought from an out of state dealer and wouldn’t know where to begin lol.

Those east coast deals are where it’s at. I am leaning towards buying out there and having it shipped.
