I've finished making various changes with Forscan to my '18 SCREW, with the exception of enabling Nav destination while in motion. I don't know why, but I didn't end up enabling it, partly because I read somewhere that APIM changes are reported to Ford when wifi synced (aren't they all?) and secondly because it disables the auto 911 calling feature.

Curious as to what are other owners doing with this particular option.

voice prompts for me. Don’t be “that guy”. The one drifting midway into adjoining lanes while trying to set a destination.

On our 19 you can enter a destination while moving, my wife did it yesterday while I was driving. I thought I was being smart and tried to use the voice, but it didn't get me where I wanted to go, so she entered it on the keypad and it worked.

The auto 911 feature isn’t that big of a deal. I’ve had this in all my cars all the way back to a 2004 BMW and have never used it (thankfully).

There are plenty of driving distraction besides this and it sounds like they enable it at the factory starting in 2019. I think it's the syncing to Ford that is bugging me. Does it matter? Do they even care?

The 911 auto call feature doesn't really matter too much to me either. I think it was in my 2000 Suburban that OnStar offered it. But in the right circumstance i suppose it could be valuable. Still haven't decided but I'm leaning to enabling it.

Is that the correct FORScan callout to make this change? Apologies for my ignorance, but I couldn't confirm this in search, and don't have time to read 153 pages of FORScan thread.

Thanks in advance.
