Get a few Dunarri pierce chase lights and mount them like the 3m unisex plastic Velcro stuff (the stuff your toll pass comes with).

Brightest chase light on the market. Strobe/steady function selectable.

John, I bought a couple of these lights to try. Can you please provide some close-up shots of how you routed wiring through the 3rd brake light? Did you supplement with silicone etc?

I am nervous about leaking.

Thanks,
K.

Hey Kahuna,

What I did was route the thin wires in under the brake light seal...no silicon needed....they are so small there is little distortion of the seal. I mounted the lights using some 33m dual lock...the hard clear stuff that comes with a toll pass. I cut 2 small pieces for each light, so that the light was held off the window by the thickness of the dual lock, that allows the wires to slip out from under the lights. 2 years now. No leaks, no problems.

Once inside the brake light opening I did the wiring connections there.

As long as you enter UNDER the 3rd brake light I don't think you would ever have an issue. I also have the antenna wire and power to the antenna motor entering that way.

Post a pic once your done!

I looked at the other ones. The advantages to the way I did it are few but important. The truck can be off, it can also be in motion and the lights will still strobe.

In the size and form factor the wild power sports ones are the brightest you can get. I like them the best, but I am the one who designed them so I’m kinda partial [emoji51].

Do not use blue (even off road) in California, customers have been saying they have been ticketed for it. We have green ones in production so that will solve the issue.
