Leer 180XR



I have had a Leer 180XR since July and do not have any paint damage. Perfect paint match as well. The big key is making sure top is clamped correctly and tight. Have done some offroading with no issue as well.

That's a nice looking shell I have a 2018 raptor and having a hard time deciding I have a Silverado with a snugtop highliner I really like because the extra height. Getting darn expensive too !

I've looked all over but can't seem to find any Gen 2 SCAB's with a topper......has anyone done it or seen a photo somewhere?

I got my Raptor back in July and went with a tonneau cover.
Then got a cap on short notice, due to do a hastily planned Road Trip.
Called around and found the only, in stock, Ingot Silver cap within hundreds of miles. Leer 100R.
Got a deal as it had been ordered for a customer who backed out and the cap had been sitting for a while.
I built some storage, a light sanding and painted the inside of the cap, blackout curtains, and a few other details.
Packed and hit the road.
The Road Trip was a success!

How bad is the fuel hit with the rack on there?

Minimal. The front runner racks are super low profile and built out of aluminum and low weight. I probably lose 2-3 mile per gallon when I add the high lift jack, shovel, and front-runner 12 gallon water tank. My foot in the gas in sports mode is the biggest problem to mileage.
