I am buying my 19 Raptor to flat tow behind my Motor Home. I use a Road Master tow bar and I know they make a base plate for the Raptor which replaces the tow hooks with the tow brackets on the stock front bumper. I would like to change the front bumper out for one that has a better approach angle, but I need to keep the tow brackets. Has anyone done this on the Gen 2 models? Do you know of any manufacturer that does this? Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah I guess I didn’t read it all, seems weird that there is a limit for emergencies but not for recreational towing.

For emergency towing you are not putting the trunk in to "flat tow mode" transfer-case is not in neutral.

I'm is a similar spot- I want to flat tow, and use the stock bumper and add a hidden winch. After a lot of searching I have decided to custom fab D ring mounts that will replace the tow hooks. For winching- I'll install a D ring- for towing I"ll remove the D ring and connect the tow bar.

Most base-plate mounts ( for flat towing) remove the tow hooks,.
